The first step in setting up freight is to go to Maintain/Setup File and choose the Pricing1 tab. At the bottom of the page, you will see Freight Calculations. Here you can choose to add basic freight charges by filling in the following fields: Def. Freight Code, Base Freight $, Adder per LB and Use Adder for Over _ Lbs. You can also choose to set up more detailed freight charges by checking the box titled "Use the Freight Tables?". If you decide to use the freight tables, you will go to Maintain/Pick Lists/Freight Charges and choose from any or all of the following ways to set up freight charges: Flute, Mileage, Weight, Zones, Cities and MSF.
