You see the following fields in the Details tab of the Customer Maintenance dialog box:

Dealer: Enter a dealer code for this customer, if any. This field is for informational purposes only.
Item #: Not applicable.
Type: Select Broker, Direct or Sheetplt
Source: Enter one to five characters to indicate where your customer heard about your company. This field appears on the Customer File Report. This field has a System Manager rule for which you can set up valid entries.
Specialty: Enter the customer's specialty. This field is for informational purposes only.
Comment: Type any comment about the customer in the text area. This information does not appear on invoices; however, you see it when you open the customer's record. Use the Notes tab to record more extensive information about the customer.
